My husband and I our both veterans . Our “compelling” story unfortunately is not so uncommon, our disaster not one of nature but that of man . My husband suffers from PTSD and I simply want to help him heal through travel . A literal road to healing . He is a wonderful, kind, and loving human being that was willing to sacrifice his own life for his country and at this point all though he would never admit it , likely wonders why he sacrificed so much for a country that seems to despise his very being ( he’s an African American man ) .
