I want to nominate our family. We currently live in a mobile home in Davie that has water damage. We have mold in the walls and floors and we just can’t afford to fix it. We are a one income family because I stay home with our 4 yr old Autistic son and our 11 yr old daughter that suffers from kidney issues. Last year our daughter had 4 surgeries in 4 months and was in bed for about 6 months in pain. My husband just got his general contractor license and so he works for himself but work flow fluctuates. Our children have terrible allergies due to the mold in our home. We’ve just been stuck in this home far too long making our kids sicker by the day. This prize would be wonderful for us to be able to stay somewhere that won’t be toxic for us until we can afford something else. It would be a blessing. Please help us!
