My wife and I purchased a 2017 Thor Citation 24SS in late November 2016 at Camping World Greenwood, Indiana
I can’t begin to express my extreme disappointment, disgust, and pure anger over this purchase and what we’ve gone through with this unit over the past 2.5 years. The time I’ve spent making 100’s of calls as well as sending dozens and dozens of emails to both Camping World and Thor, time spent running back and forth to Camping World countless times, documenting all these issues, and most importantly, the obvious the loss of use of the “recreational” unit we purchased with vast excitement and enthusiasm….have all contributed to what has become nothing shy of a gross disappointment over the past 140 weeks.
Over the past 140 weeks (the duration of our ownership of this unit) our RV has sat at the Camping World service department for over 100 of those weeks!!! CAN YOU IMAGE THE FRUSTRATION…I know you can therefore your kind offer!. Our unit currently sits at the Camping World service department…the repairs have NEVER been completed.
We’ve cancelled countless planned trips, etc due to the fact that our unit is constantly in service. We’ve had close to 150 issues with this unit. However, leaking water is the major issue and had led to considerable additional damage. Our largest storage compartment (underneath storage bin) has a major leak and there is a small leak in the rear slide and a pretty active leak in the front slide that is leading to additional water damage to the unit. The floor is starting to warp, wood damage, metal parts of the couch are rusting, etc, etc…all due to a leak that has been “repaired” by Camping World service serval times. Yet the repair has never actually been made!!!. They just believe they’ve made the repairs each time…I drive over to pick up the unit…days later it rains…and it becomes rather obvious the repairs were never made. EXTREMELY frustrating for countless reasons.
So, of the 150+ issues we encountered with this RV…the water leaks are the issues of concern!
I’ve attached work orders from the time of purchase through November 2017. I’ve requested our work orders from 2017 to date a number of times and Camping World is not responding to those request. As stated…our unit is currently in service at Camping World…however, they haven’t been able to make the repairs the past 2.5 years…why would I think they could make them now???
I have serval pictures and video of the leaking issues I can supply if requested.

We truly appreciate your consideration and look forward to putting this nightmare behind us once and for all.
