Story by Tammy Toalson

Last November, after Hurricane Michael ravaged Panama City and destroyed our son’s home (and most of the surrounding area) we went to Camping World to purchase a new camper. This camper was to serve as a temporary home for my son, his wife and two children (one handicapped) for the foreseeable future due to the damage sustained on their home. We purchased a 2019 Premier 29BHPR. We were assured by CW the camper we were buying was new and was not on property in Panama City when Michael devastated our area. After the purchase, our kids moved into the camper parked next to their home. In the coming days we found leaks and previous damage in the camper from the storm. The CW manager at the time admitted the camper was on their property during the storm. He promised to work with us to resolve the issues. He was then moved to another CW location and we were left to fend for ourselves. The new manager demands we bring the camper to the store. While there is a one year warranty on the camper, we are not able to take it in for repair since they are still living in it. They are hoping to get another room or two in their house “livable” in the next month or so. The camper is less than 3 miles from the CW location here but no one would go out to look at it and we cannot displace the family to take it in. We only dealt with CW due to the extreme conditions after the storm and we will never deal with them again! If you can help us repair the camper it would be greatly appreciated. I have all correspondence with CW documented.
