Taking S’mores to the Next Level

6 mouth-watering s’mores recipes for your next RV vacation

Anyone who’s ever made S’mores over an open campfire knows there is nothing more delicious than the combination of graham crackers, toasted marshmallows, and chocolate. Or is there? Vacationing in an RV gives you the opportunity to up your game when it comes to cooking S’mores.

We’ve come up with 6 mouth-watering S’mores recipes to try for your next RV vacation

#1: Banana Boat S’mores

Graham crackers are the traditional way to go when it comes to S’mores, but what if you swap them our for a banana? The result is pure bliss.

Simply carve out a thin strip along the inner curve of the banana, leaving one end intact. Then peel back the strip and spoon out about a third of the banana.

Fill the “boat” with chocolate chips, mini marshmallows or any other topping you want (e.g. peanut butter, Nutella, nuts or go ahead and put graham cracker pieces in there). Put the strip back in place and place the whole banana on the grill for about 10 minutes or until everything is melted.

#2: S’mores with a kick of Bailey’s

This is strictly an “adult’s only” dessert. All you have to do is toast the marshmallow and then dip it in a cup of Bailey’s before placing it between your chocolate and graham cracker sandwich. Done and done…Enjoy!

#3: Cast Iron Skillet S’mores

This is also called the s’mores dip, and it is an option that you can make inside if the weather is bad or it’s too cold.

Ingredients:
1 cup of chocolate chips
8 large marshmallows
Graham crackers for dipping

Directions:
-Pour the chocolate chips into a cast iron skillet
-Snip the marshmallows in half and place on top of the chocolate chips
-Place the skillet on the fire
-Cook for about 7-9 minutes or until the marshmallows are soft and gooey
-Use the graham crackers to scoop out the deliciousness

#4: Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookie S’mores

Raise your hand if you loved these cookies as a kid? All you have to do is swap out graham crackers for the Keebler cookies with the chocolate on the reverse inside. It adds an extra “layer” of chocolate.

#5: Chocolate Chip Cookie S’mores

Same concept as above, except this time you swap out graham crackers for chocolate chip cookies. If you can manage to make the cookies warm right out of the oven, you are golden. YUMMY!

#6: Cookies ’n Cream S’mores

Another simple switch that can add up to something amazing. For this recipe, you simply swap out a regular chocolate bar for a Hershey’s Cookies ’n Cream bar.
