In 2018, a town by the name of Paradise in Northern California burned to the ground. Homes, businesses, stores, churches, RV parks, gone. Everything was gone. 19,000 structures. 26,000 people are now homeless.
A man living in Colorado by the name of Woody Faircloth got up off his couch and did something. He drove a donated RV into Paradise, CA with his daughter to deliver badly needed shelter in the form of an RV. As of mid December 2019, he had delivered 74 RVs, and more are being donated all the time.
Because of this wonderful unselfish action, someone nominated him for CNN heroes. We here at The RV Advisor are going to keep in touch with Woody as time progresses along, and share with you his success in serving the people of Paradise. Getting these folks out of tents, away from the elements, and into cozy RV homes.
We had a chance to speak with Woody on the RV Advisor Podcast! Visit their website: RV4CampfireFamily.org. If you have any questions or comments you would like to share about this story, please do. We welcome your voices.
